SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT MAWAMBA LODGE: This is an extremely remote part of Costa Rica. For this portion of the trip, you will be joining a small group. Your stay at Mawamba includes lodging, meals, and regular tours. Optional tours are available. Due to the all inclusive nature of this destination, there will be a small charge for the kids. Children 5-12 pay $145.00 each. Children 4 and under are free. There is a maximum of two children sharing a room with two adults.
The Mawamba Lodge is located withing the borders of the Tortuguero National Park. You will stop at the ranger station on the boat ride to the lodge. Everyone on board has to pay a $10.00 cash admission.

**THE KIDS ARE FREE!
Up to two children under 12 are allowed at no charge when sharing a room with two adults. When only one adult is traveling, the first child shall pay the adult rate.
When a single adult is traveling with three children, the oldest child will be considered an adult, and two more children under 12 shall be allowed to travel at no charge.
In some hotels, a small upgrade may be required. This is usually very inexpensive,
and is done soley for the comfort of the group or to enable more bed space.
When this becomes necessary, it will be discussed at the time of booking.

High season rates apply December 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012.
