Your best friend in Monteverde is Kattya Corrales. Kattya was born in this beautiful mountain community. She and her brother David (a local guide) were educated at the Quaker school. Kattya learned her perfect English at an early age.
She has been involved in tourism for well over 20 years. She has experience in San Jose and Tamarindo, but the lure of the cool woods and her close family ties has always drawn her back to Monteverde.
This lady likes to stay busy! She and her husband own a modern van, and offer private transfers in and out of Monteverde. If you booked this service through us, chances are it will be Kattya doing the driving. When she is not assisting our Costa Rica clients, she cooridnates volunteers at the Cloud Forest School.
She is knowledgeable about all tours in the Monteverde area, and is happy to assist with advance bookings.
Always family oriented, Kattya enjoys spending her spare time at home with her extended family.
